How are the June festivities in Brazil?
The June festivals there in my neighborhood were very lively and fun, the children were all euphoric. The kids quit asking door to door gifts.

The ladies were delicious delicacies, popcorn, sweet potatoes, cakes, pumpkin sweets and hominy.

To drink we had quentão (cachaça) and mulled wine the two drinks are mixed with cinnamon, cloves and ginger.

Men were responsible for the fire, stick-to-tallow (greased pole sebum where people must climb to reach the premium placed on top).

It was all great fun.

There were the traditional games of the bag and elegant mail but tasty even was able to dance the quadrille.

People gathered every day for tests and the search for a pair was great. To find out who the bride was made a draw (all gang has a "marriage").

The accordionist animated the party with traditional songs of the time.

The streets were decorated with colorful flags and all done with great commitment and dedication by all. The preparation was as cool as the party.

On the day, the streets were full of stalls and in the corner there was a big stage where the songs were played and the musicians had.

Visitors came from across the region, everyone wanted to participate.

I can not forget the auction ...

Everyone was screaming and the auctioneer said higher who the most ... who the most ...

All proceeds was to help the home to old and poor children.

In the end it ended in forró where the people were squandered to dance until the sun comes up.

Não posso me esquecer do leilão...
